The Water Saving Western Cape website evolved out of a need for a central place for Capetonians in search of information on the ongoing drought during 2016, 2017 and 2018. We have the Western Cape’s best interest at heart, as far as water saving is concerned. Hence the Site Aim:

‘To Promote the Responsible and Wise use of Water’

The site focuses on providing up to date and relevant water related posts. Not only will the admins work to keep the information current, but there will also be access to the posts of guest authors, such as Tom Brown and Dani Nieckau. More guest authors will be added over time. The Water News Section is the place to be.

We also have a Business Listing Section. Users are invited to list their Water Related Businesses, and in doing so you will receive free exposure to all our visitors. A word of caution though, the listing comes with a user rating capability – if you list, you must be responsible and provide an honest and reliable product and service. With a Great Listing, comes a Great Responsibility (to misquote Spidey 😉 )

Our FAQs are also worth a look. We try our best to keep them relevant and you may just find the answer to a question that has been bugging you.

Want to know more about legislation, bylaws, and other government stuff, pop into our Resources and Water Laws Sections.

Finally, if you want to see a list of water related businesses, our Supplier Directory is the place to go.

Enjoy our site, feel free to make suggestions and above all, keep on saving water.
